Since I was a boy, following my father to this gallery close to the Town Hall in Oslo, I have wanted to be able, once, to show my work in this marble hall with the even, white daylight.
Finally, in 2013, at the age of 73, the luck came my way!
On Monday morning the 4th February I started inventing this show, up from the great mass of material that had been gathered here the day before. On Tuesday afternoon, all the elements had found their places and on Wednesday I could take care of the details: fresh paint, small repairs and ajustments. On Thursday morning I brought back the surplus of the materials to my studio, and could relax before the opening at 18 hours.
